It’s easy to judge a young person in a negative light who has chosen to live a “gangster” lifestyle. We’ve found most often that no matter what a youth has done, their souls still have value. Many gang impacted youth believe their lives are not worth living. We seek to change that in two ways…

#1 - We offer community value. When a young person finds value in connecting with their community, they are less likely to cause harm in that community. They feel connected and find value in both the community and their own self. Often times, for the first time.

#2 - We offer restoration of relationships. We offer a young person the chance to work side by side with someone they may have previously had problems with on the streets. In this way, they find commonality amongst their peers where they have formerly only found adversity. Our experience has taught us that most gang impacted youth have more in common than not in common. Often times the only difference is the “color” or “set” they represent.
